The legendary author of The Fault in Our Stars joins us to review different facets of the human experience – from the QWERTY keyboard to sunsets – on a five-star scale.

An author whose books have sold more than 50 million copies worldwide and been adapted into two Hollywood movies and a Netflix series, the most loved and renowned Young Adult storyteller of the last decade, one of Time’s Most Influential People in the World and one half of YouTube’s most famous duo, the Vlog brothers, John Green is more than a writer. He is a phenomenon.

With over 10 million lifetime downloads, his podcast The Anthropocene Reviewed is a ground-breaking, critically acclaimed symphony of ideas sharing his unique perspective on our human-centred world. Whether reviewing viral meningitis (one out of five stars) or auld lang syne (five out of five stars), the Lascaux cave paintings or Diet Dr Pepper, the show is a journey into a singular and brilliant imagination as well as a richly detailed portrait the marvels, diversity and absurdity of life on planet Earth.

Now, celebrating the collection of his Anthropocene essays into his first non-fiction book, John joins How To Academy to share his insights into our age and celebrate our shared human experience.

Whether you are a fan of his novels, channel, the existing podcast, or simply want to hear a profound, original and inspiring new take on the meaning of life, don’t miss this exclusive livestream event.
