Guide to Nerdfighting: http://www.guidetonerdfighting.com Thoughts from Places: http://johngreenbooks.com/thoughts-from-places-an-introduction/
In which John does an old-fashioned parts video, discussing his fox hat (a detail from Looking for Alaska), his newly re-cataloged home library, the relationship between zombies and people, a crowdsourced book project called the guide to nerdfighting, the new vlogbrothers video series Thoughts from Places, and the continuing amazingness of the In Your Pants joke. (If you add In Your Pants to the end of book titles, many of those book titles become much funnier.)
The Fox Hat IS REAL, but Are Zombies People?

I think you’re missing a key point here… aren’t zombies by definition also dead?
Although, yeah, I can’t say I don’t feel like a zombie sometimes… Ya’know, when that whole “Food, water, turn in assignments on time, catch a few hours of sleep” gets to be all that the brain can process -.-
The sweaty yeti, in your pants!! That’s so incredibly funny!!
Personally, I think that zombies are people too. I mean, they do the only thing they CAN do to keep, well, alive. Or something. I don’t think we should judge them for being dead, slow, eating brains etc.. We aren’t that different. Like Kat Alexander said, I feel like a zombie almost every morning when I have to go to school.
Where did you get that fox hat from anyway? I am STILL waiting for my Paper Towns copy to arrive… That sucks..
Zombies were people, not now. “The sweaty yeti, in your pants” made me giggle lots! Just wondering – did you read my friends letter? She gave it to you in Edinburgh at the signing, she was the first Caitlin you signed a book for, LOL. Oh and i want that hat… o.o x
This video made me so happy… Lol. That hat is pure AWESOMENESS!! I’m so jealous. And of course zombies are people. It doesn’t matter if they’re dead. And HOW COULD YOU LIVE WITHOUT A CATALOGUED LIBRARY?!?! It’s insanity, says I. And as for the “in your pants” joke… The next time I go to a bookstore/library, they may kick me out for disturbing the peace with my insane laughter. Lol.
An Abundance of Katherines in your pants.
I loved that book so much.
that sucks
