In which Hank shows off his day a bit, announces the charities that will be receiving the funds raised during the Project for Awesome and then feels really inspired and amazed by nerdfighteria. Thank you all for being a part of this.

The first vlogbrothers I saw was hank’s trip to the bighole battlefield. I am an 8th grade teacher in Somers, MT, just outside of kalispell, and I was looking for a video on the battlefield to introduce an excerpt from tough trip through paradise when I came across the video.
The Project for Awesome is to be commended for wanting to make a difference, developing a plan to make a difference, implementing the plan and crossing your fingers that it would work and Ta-Da! Really coming through for worthy causes. I have personally watched BGSU and the good that the Dance Marathon provides. The students gain, the patients gain and the community wins. This made me smile. Ta-Da a Project for Awesome success. DFTBA
Well, this was my first vlogbrothers video to watch, so make that March 9th, 2014.
And if I could type, it would really be March 9th, 2013. I am not a time traveller, really.
And I am on Pacific time. It really is March 9th here still.
I don’t remember exactly, but it was one of the first videos about John’s campaign to sign all of the TFIOS pre-orders back in early 2011. I’m a librarian and I really enjoyed Alaska and Paper Towns, so I heard about his pledge and looked up the videos to see what was going on. I came for the epic months of signatures, I’ve stayed for the nerdy good times. Congrats on all the fabulous work you and this wonderful community have done in the past 6 years!
