In which Hank is a little bit weird and has a hard time concentrating, but does eventually get around to the point...well...actually not really, I don't think there's much of a point to this one.

Oh, and to answer the contemplative question I ask myself in the video...if two sets of identical twins got married to each other, the kids they have would be /biologically/ siblings, but of course /geneologically/ cousins. WEIRD RIGHT!!

I am not by any stretch of the imagination an expert on angler fish, but based on my extensive (now into its 5th minute) consideration of your drawing, I have to say that the sharp teeth in front of the actual bait would seem to give away that it is a trap.

Granted, I don’t know fish psychology, any more than I know angler fish anatomy. In fact, your post is exposing gigantic gaps in my learning that are now causing me to question whether I know anything. At all. But unless fish do not view giant sharp teeth as something to fear, your angler fish — cool-looking as it is — is doomed to starve. It has evolved to a point where its ferocious predatoriness has overwhelmed its ability to be a predator.

Someone needs to tell Darwin about this. I assume you will handle that. I am going to be busy suing my elementary school teachers. Ms. Talaska, I hope you have insurance…
