Well, jeez. I’ve just given up my ‘Watching A John Green Video Blog’ virginity. I’m left laughing and convulsing as I should be post a great de-flowering. Merci buckets. I’m trying to send you a message of gratitude for your words – spoken and written, but my daughter Miller (she’s three and MIGHTY) is banging a plastic tea kettle under my chin and demanding that I change the batteries so we can hear more fake tea pouring. ‘Cause my world needs more fake tea pouring noise. (It does, really.) I’ve read TFIOS and Paper Towns (both) in less than four days. This would be a small miracle for any busy, writing mother of two, alas, these are John Green books I’m talkin’ about here. I couldn’t put them down much to the anger of my kids (who wanted me to change batteries and important things of the like) and my hubby (who wanted me for other things…ahem). So, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for being an amazing writer and human being…It’s amazing that Ransom is a super friend. I have a ‘Ransom’ in my life (his name’s Christopher), and we hope to one day be one and two on the best seller list as well (in no particular order). K. I really gotta go. My chin is bleeding. Just kidding. If you’d like to read a more thorough ‘thank you’, please visit my blog and read last week’s Tuesday’s Truths. Thanks for making me laugh and cry with your words. And for the video blog de-virgining.

Wow what a blessing. The gods shined down on that little porch in college, two amazing writers and a librarian!

Great vlog! Love how your lives took unexpected twists and turns and landed you each at #1 and #2 on the NYT Bestsellers List. That is full of awesome!

John, I’ve watched a lot of vlogbrothers video (read: maybe all) and this just might be my favourite. (I also have a soft spot for I HATE PENNIES!) The seemingly unconnected connections and events leading to synchronicities – weird and wonderful, indeed. Beautiful story.
