Football For Nerds

by on February 1, 2013

In which Hank talks about American Football (also known as Hand Egg) from the perspective of a nerd...particularly tackling the question of why this sport is so popular.

I have just arrived in the UK and knew I wouldn't have time to make a video, so I filmed this before I left Missoula.

Thanks to Dave Loos for doing much of the research necessary to make this episode.

Hank, this is wonderful. The included statistics only further justify my “couldn’t give fewer craps” feelings about this sport. I like your name better, but we call it sportsball, like most of the other sports out there.

We sorted through our library and re-arranged books while the super bowl was happening (it took more than three hours). It was very rewarding, and now I can find some of the books I “lost” or forgot I had.
